Videology and the gospel
Haven't watched all of this... infact only about 10mins... but this is a question I have had about the way Mars Hill Church works. I am not against video useage but my question is: Why do video satellited sermons instead of installing preachers in those centres?? I am interested to see what Mark has to say from the Bible about this...

it's definitely well worth watching the whole thing. he makes a pretty solid argument for the way they do things, and explains quite well how and why it actually works.
at the same time he acknowledges that it's not something that every church should do, but that it is the right thing (or rather a wise thing)for them to do in their circumstances.
i think he really hit the nail on the head when he said "we are to be flexible with our methods, but firm on our doctrine"
i found out today that driscoll and carson are the two speakers at engage conference next year! can't wait!

I like it. Great to see that he is training pastors in preaching and that they all get to preach around 12 times a year... it is an awesome ministry to be able to vodcast his sermons all over the world! Does anyone know of other churches who vodcast their sermons???
